2903 Final Reflection

In this course me and my group decided to volunteer in Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO), we prepared our self and communicate with the officials about doing volunteer in their organization, after they accepted us we were so happy and we started our volunteering.

Every day in our volunteering days we sow a new things with new kind of special need people, we treated with young, old, girls and boys in different cases of disabilities, of Corse each of us enjoyed a part of volunteering, I enjoyed the kids classes they are from 4 to 7 years old students each of them had a different cases of disability, I enjoyed this section because i was helping them in their first thing to do which is  tried to catch thing for example some kinds of toys that’s proportional their ages and to connect some picture’s of fruit to others to learn the shapes and colors, they were so cute and its very fun to treat with kids in this ages.

In my volunteering in Zayed higher organization I have learned many things for example how to deal and treat with special need peoples in different cases with young and old people, they developed my skills, also to not be shy and not to be afraid to deal with this kind of people because they are simple and easy to treat with them.

In conclusion, its important for every person to volunteer, for sure it will not be my last time volunteer in Zayed Higher Organization because really I had fun there and I like to help this kind of people.

Our Last Day Of Volunteering In ZHO

On our last day of volunteering the instructor took us to assist the teenagers with their work, we created candles. first we heated the wax & waited for it to melt. Secondly, we poured it into the shaped containers. Finally we added a string to it which eventually dried and formed a candle. After the candles were made they gave to us as a  souvenir we really really enjoyed the process of it but unfortunately its time to leave so we said our goodbyes.
